We had a storm that lasted for about 15 minutes and in that 15 minutes it managed to uproot the tree in Kennie and Julie's front yard. we were just happy that it fell that way and not on top of our house or Rasmussen's house. Can it get more American than that.
The best thing about the Zoo was the bird show where birds flew right over our heads. It was awesome.
Ben, Laney and Ty found some tigers to sit on, even though Laney really didn't want to. She was afraid that they were real.

We went to "Wheeler Farm" and looked at all the animals.
Laney didn't want to milk the cow so mama had to do it. Now she wants to though. so we'll have to go back.
Mama was the only one who was brave enough to touch the stingrays. (This was before the "Crocodile Hunter" died. I might not have been so brave had it been after.)
Oldemor came to visit and we went and to the aquarium. Laney liked this display because there were "nemo" and "dory" fish.

She liked the big fountain although she was kind of scared of having to stand by it all by herself.
Ben and I went to the temple and Laney wanted to go too, so Ty and Laney and I went to Tmeple Square one day to look around.
We had lots of rainy days in September and Laney loved playing with the umbrella.

We all went swimming and after a while Ben finally got Laney convinced to let us hold her in the pool and not just sit on the steps. After that she was having so much fun. I think we'll have to sign her up for swimming lessons, since she loved it so much.
One day when I had put Ty down for a minute on the couch, Laney decided that she wanted to read a book to him.
Ty loves this chair because he can sit up.
Laney was drawing one day and when i went in to check on her she had blue marker all over her face and hands.
