Ty was tagged by Lilly.1. Ty was born on March 28th, 2006 at 9:52pm. He weighed 8lbs and 13oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. His full name is Tyler Carsten Campbell.
4. Ty loves water. I have so many pictures of him all wet because he'll just find water and start playing in it. Needless to say, when we bought a hose recently, the boy was ecstatic. I can also always count on him doing the dishes that are sitting in the sink. The whole counter, the floor and himself might be drenched afterwards....but the dishes are done. (he loves vacuuming too...what a good boy!!!)
5. He is such a loving, considerate little feller. One morning I was still quite tired and layed down on the couch. Ty immediately came up to me and started pulling a blanket on me. He often does that. Or when I lay with him in his bed, he'll share his blanket with me. He always gives me the biggest, tightest squeezes around my neck and lots and lots of kisses. One morning, he was sleeping in our bed, and he woke up. I was kind of awake too but didn't open my eyes. Ty started stroking my face and planted a kiss on my lips. He was so cute that I had to open my eyes and when I did I saw a big ol' smile and then Ty said, "hi". It was so cute. Totally made up for him waking up and crying during the night.
6. Ty is a little comedian. He's always trying to be funny and does things just to make us laugh. One of his favorites is to call me "llama". He thinks that's hilarious. He's always smiling and laughing.
8. "He's a viking. He has to be with that middle name." That's what my dad calls him, and Ty's middle name is my dad's first name...:) He's really tough. When he was little we used to tell Laney she should be careful when she was teasing him because soon he would be able to beat her up. Well, he has been able to for a while now. When we go to the playground we'll hang him on the monkey bars and he just hang there for a long time. When he has to go in for shots he doesn't start crying for a while and he looks more like he's annoyed with the nurse than because he's in pain. He has his iron levels checked every 6 months, and he never cries when the nurse pokes his finger. He's a toughie.
9. Ty's going to save us money....we'll never have to pay for drama classes or singing classes. He's a little drama king. When he doesn't get his way, he throws himself on the floor and lays there as long as he is. And he is constantly singing - soprano. I don't remember Laney singing so much when she was little. You can always hear his little squicky soprano voice when he's playing, concentrating, reading. He's always singing along when I sing to the kids....just watching me intently and singing his own little tune.
10. Ty has his tongue sticking out of his mouth most of the time....just a little bit. He has done that since he was born. (Look at the first and last picture.)
