I had a problem, so I decided to fix it. But it's not working as well as I wanted. Ty used to take a nap for about an hour every afternoon. Then he started to get really angry every time I tried to put him down for his nap....yelling, screaming. And he started to not go to bed until 9-10 at night. I need my 2 or so hours at night where the kids are sleeping and it's just me. Nobody climbing on me, fighting, crying, screaming. So I decided that Ty didn't need his nap anymore and then he could go to bed at his normal time...8 pm. But he gets so tired that he falls asleep around 5pm on some nights and other nights he is just so tired he can barely keep his little eyes open. So needless to say we are still working on it.
If you are wondering why there's a dish towel on my living room floor, it's because my dish towels do not stay in the drawer for more than a couple of minutes. They are used as blankets for Lammies and babies, Nephite costumes, super hero capes among other things. It's not unusual that the dish towels cannot be found in the kitchen and you have to wipe your hands on the towel in the bathroom. However, if you can't find one in the kitchen, just look in the living room or in one of the kids' rooms...

That is so funny of Ty falling asleep while he is eating, Kody hasn't wanted to take naps either, unless I drive in the car but it gets really old driving around everyday, its the two year old stage. Ty is so cute though.

That is just precious video, I love it! I'm having a heck of a time with Gavin's naps too..like Kally said, unless I'm driving somewhere, which I can't justify doing just for sleep unless I have other errands to run...since gas is so pricy! So I volunteered to drive Kindergarten carpool last week just so I had a reason to drive Gavin to sleep..dumb, I know! Also, I love the dish towel story too! So fun!

Ha ha ha...that video is priceless! What a cute little Ty boy...love him! We're at the in-between stages with naps, too - Braiden sometimes still takes 2, sometimes just takes 1, and I'm trying to get this figured out myself. If you solve this problem, let me know what you did, will ya?
