I always loved when my mom told me about things that I said or did when I was little. So I try to write down funny things that Laney and Ty say and do. These are a couple of things that Laney said in the last couple of days.

The other day it started hailing outside and Laney saw it and came running up to me and said, “it’s raining little balls!!” After I explained to her that it was called hail. When Ben came home from work she was so excited and told him, “It was raining hail outside.” She did say “hail” but it sure sounded like something else….

We were talking about what the word “punk” means, because Laney has been using it as a loving term for Ty. Ben explained what it meant to Laney where after Laney said, “Those Lamanites who took our bike were punks!” Our bike got stolen a year or so ago. Afterwards I asked Ben if he had said anything about Lamanites at all, and he said no. So that must just have been in her little head that she figured that the Lamanites were not very nice and those people who took our bike was not nice....I don't know, but it was pretty funny.
