July 2007

Laney put this on and sait that she's ready to go to Denmark. She has already packed her toys a couple of times and is all ready to go, even though we don't leave for another 10 weeks.
We finally took Ty's bottle from him. He only used it when he was going to sleep so we had to find something else that he could do while falling asleep. So every night he reads this truck book and then sleeps with his little Tiger in the background.
Here's Laney reading her book before bedtime.

We have been so busy lately that we haven't up in the mountains for a long time, so we decided to go for a drive and a short hike up to our favorite waterfall one Family Home Evening. Here's Ty posing on a rock.
Laney posing on the same rock.

Right by the waterfall Laney and Ty plopped down to throw rocks in the water. Ty, at first was a little scared of it all (I think is was the noise) but when he realized he throw rocks in the water he couldn't get him away from there again.
Laney trowing rocks in the water and the waterfall in the background.

Laney is going to be an acrobat when she grows up. Here's her tricks on the swing.

If you wonder why her lips are blue, it's because she just ate a lollipop kind of thing that colored her whole mouth.
Here's Ty's trick how to charm the ladies.....just show them your kissy lips.

They look like they are related.

These two pictures Laney took when Tiff and little Braiden was nice enough to come babysit for a couple of days when I had to go to work. Braiden is such a hppy little feller.
Tiffy and Braiden.

Ben showed Ty and Laney how to make the potatobugs curl up into a ball and then you can flick them out onto the lawn. Well, Ty spent a long time picking potatobugs up and throwing them out on the grass.
I have never seen him concentrate so hard.

Cute Laney pige.
Here's some more acrobat pictures of Laney.
Getting ready to let go with her feet.

Laney took a bunch of pictures of Ty playing peek-a-boo with her under the towels. She going to be a great photographer.

Cool dude. Tak for solbrillerne, Wendy! Ty elsker dem. We always put the sunglasses on Ty when we're in the car and yesterday when we went to Toys'R'us he didn't take them off when we went in the store. so I left them on him to see how long he would keep them on. Well, he had them on the whole time we were in the store.....he was pretty cute.
We are going to have to bring the kitty with us when we move.....Laney and Kitty have a special bond.
That sister is so funny....
Two cuddle bugs fresh out of the tub.

I put water in this little box because the kids love to play with water. But when i came out to check on them Ty was bathing in the water and Laney was taking a foot bath....nice!!!

Ben wanted to take a picture of Laney's hair because he thought it looked so cute.
Ty also figured out how to climb on top of the couch. Then he just stand up there, smiling and laughing like the naughty boy he is.

He then sits down and holds on to the bar next to the slide, turns around while holding on and slides down on his belly. pretty tricky, but very smart since the slide is a very fast one.

King of the Slide.

Ty figured out today how to climb up the slide......

Laney was laying on the ottoman with her pillow and blanket and Ty decided to give her loves. So he climbed on top of her to hug her......how precious.
One day we were driving home from the grocery store and it was so hot outside. We were in the car for about 5 minutes but by the time we got home Ty's hair was wet because he was so sweaty. So I decided to fill the sandbox lid with water for the kids to play in. I filled it one bucket full and went back to fill the bucket again. When I came out this is what i found. Ty sitting in the water with clothes, diaper and all pouring water on himself. I laughed so hard. (Look at how red his face is.....)

The Last Month

This happened one day right before i had to go to work. I was all ready to go and just needed to put a shirt on Ty and then out the door. Well, i walked outside where the kids were playing and this is what i found....Ty covered in sand. He looked like he had a mustache and really dark eyebrows. Anyway, i had to leave so I took him to the shower and hosed the poor boy down....He was screaming and I was trying to be fast and gentle.
This picture speaks for it self.

Everytime i try to do the dishes or just turn the water on I immediately have at least one if not two helpers ready to get their hands wet.....I'm so lucky!!!

It's fun to see how the kids develop and grow. Laney lately have started liking Barbies and Polly Pockets. It amazes me how long she can spend on taking their clothes and putting new clothes on over and over and over.....

For Laney's birthday she got a Barbie. That was the first present she opened. Normally she opens all her presents and then want to help Ty. But this time she opened the Barbie and then was occupied for the next hour or so. Ty got to open all his present on his own and he could have opened Laney's too she was so busy.

Ty playing in the water.

We went to Discovery Gateway, which was really fun.
They had a little town where everything was kid sized. That's where we spent most of our time.
Ty posing on a swan.
Both Laney and Ty loved to look at the Life Flight helicopter.

Vaersgo' Sabina!!!

We found some little lawn chairs what look exactly like ours for Laney and Ty.

"Hygge" after a bath. And then on to attacking your sister.

Laney takes a time out from bouncing to read a book.

This is when we went to "The Tracy Aviary". These are my two monkeys looking at the birds.
Laney looking at the geese.
Ty wanted to chase the peacocks the whole time.

Ty munching on a banana bread that Havalah and Laney made.
