My grandma is here in Utah for a couple of weeks because my cousin is getting married. Her birthday was yesterday and so we went up in the mountains last Saturday to celebrate her birthday.
Ben, Laney, Ty and I went up a couple of hours early to get a good spot. While we waited for everybody else to come up we had fun playing in the stream and hiking a little bit.

This looks like a beautiful place. We should head up there and play with all the kids when the leaves start changing colors! Glad you get to visit with your Grandma while she's in town!

Looks like fun! Where is this canyon? I am quite lost when it comes to around here, and my husband is a big outdoors person he has been wanting to go up the mountains forever!
it's 3800 south and then just go up, up, up. This canyon has a fee though....like $2.50, I think. Little and Big Cottonwood are great too and you don't have to pay to go up there.
I'm jealous of the fun scenery you guys always find! Glad you got to have some fun with your family (instead of OURS for a change, huh? :))

That looks like alot of fun. I haven't been up that canyon in 4 or 5 years.
You guys are quite the adventurers! Luckily Brian takes us on gorgeous drives, hikes, etc. too! Can you believe how many amazing places there are to go right in our back yards?! We're lucky!
