Ben played basketball at the church last night and fell on somebody, twisted his ankle, heard his ankle *POP* and then he couldn't walk on it. He came hobbling home and put ice on it but this morning it still hurt so we took him to the doctor. He has a fractured fibula and got a cast on for the next 4 weeks. He will get it off just in time to play volleyball with his family for thanksgiving...haha
Maybe it's time to stop playing basketball at the church....a couple of months ago he came home with a black eye....lol

Oh my! You gotta love that church basketball...I'm so sorry! I hope you heal quickly, Ben! Do you need to borrow Andrew's crutches?
Of course he broke one of those skinny little ankles! Whenever I saw him play basketball or volleyball I always worried about him jumping up and then having all 90 lbs of him land on those little twig legs.
Feel better Ben!
Way to go Ben! You my hero. I dislocated my shoulder once play church bball. It was an unpleasant sight but someone managed to help me pull my arm back out of the pocket. I was out for several weeks. No worries, you'll be fine. Keep up the physical fitness.
Ahh, poor guy! It is a cool story, and a nice looking cast...but was it worth it?! Are you doing alright Nadj? Not fun to have to carry everything and everyone...hang in there all of you!!!
That church ball is a rough group of people to be playing with! :-) Hope Ben get's better soon!
A black eye before, too? Isn't it funny how church basketball brings out the meanness and injuries in people? I was frightened for life last year when some dudes from our ward and another ward totally got into a yelling fight and were about to take it outside! Luckily Matt was NOT one of those them!
church ball can be intense.
I feel his pain.
Hope he gets better sooon.
