Catch-up

Okay so as usual we are starting at the end. These are Ty's teeth that he knocked out when he was holding onto the back of the chair and jumping.
He must have slipped and then he must have face-planted in the front of the chair. These are the REALLY deep teeth marks on the chair.
And here's poor little tough Ty with no front teeth.

Zak came to visit us during the Christmas vacation and since the kids got sleds for Christmas we took them out for a test run.
Ben brought his snowboard so him and Zak could do some short little runs on it.
Ty invented a new way to drag his sled back up to the top of the hill....why do you need to use your hands anyways.
Ty was at first a little scared to try his sled but eventually tried it and loved it.
Zak chilling in the inner tube as it's flying down the hill.
Laney trying to keep her balance on her sled.
Zak trying out the kids' sled.
Laney pulling her sled back to the top. When we were all done and ready to go home Laney could have kept going and going.
This was the food for our 2nd Christmas Day "Cold Table". Ben's favorite part of the Danish Christmas traditions. I think we had enough food for the whole neighborhood.
Zak won the Almond present on Christmas Eve and he got a 500 piece puzzle which we put together the next evening.
Zak, Laney and Ty getting ready to open the presents on Christmas morning.
Our Christmas PJ's.
Our traditional Danish Christmas Eve dinner.
2 days after Zak got here we went to Temple Square to look at the Christmas lights.
So beautiful and so cool....Ben and I decided they need a crepe stand on Temple Square like they have on the walking street in Frankfurt. Who wouldn't want a warm crepe with nutella while they are walking around looking at the lights?!
Ben put together the gingerbread house and the kids each got a side, a front, and a roof side to decorate.
Laney decorating the Christmas tree.
And Ty decorating the Christmas tree. We got in on the 12th although the kids thought that was way too late. Ty asked me every day if we couldn't go get a christmas tree while Dad was at work. We decided to wait til he was home one day.
