Ty started Strong Beginnings last week. It's like preschool and it's 3 hours a day, 5 days a week. He was really nervous to start and didn't really want to. But now he LOVES it and is so happy every time I pick him up. He told me the other day that it must be called Strong Beginnings because it's for all the strong kids and because it'll make him strong!!
Mormor gave Ty a little bear the has magnets in the hands. At night he sleeps on the fridge and then in the morning, before Ty wakes up he jumps into his pocket so he can go to school with Ty. He helps Ty be brave and if Ty feels sad or scared he just has to feel the bear in his pocket and it'll make him feel better.After the first day of school he came home and I asked if he had had to feel his bear and he told me "only 2 times". One of the first days Ty was a little sad and wanted me to stay with him and when I told him I couldn't he looked up at me with sad eyes and stuck his little hand in his pocket to feel his bear. Then he felt better and ran off to play. It was very cute.

Wow, he looks so cute and grown up! I think that little bear is a great idea--I think sometimes we all might need one of those...

That is the cutest story about the bear. It almost made me cry. I think Josie needs something like that. One day she started just throwing a fit about going to school. I told her that I would go with her until she was ok. The class started doing there singing time so I stepped out of the way to watch and Josie, was singing and all of a sudden she got the saddest face and started crying. She ran over to me and held me tight, I asked her why she was crying and she said, "I don't know." I knew at this point she wasn't just making anything up she actually was feeling nervous and anxious. Eventually its gotten better but it was one of the saddest days ever. The bear is a wonderful idea, thanks for sharing.
