We went with Oldemor to the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde. First we watched a movie about the viking ships that they have in the museum. They have 5 that they found in the Fiord right outside the museum.
Here we are looking at the ships. You can kind of the see some of them in the background.
Some of them they had found a lot of them. This one was probably the one where they had the least of it, but it was also the biggest one.

Then they had this cool room where they had Viking Ships you could play on and Viking dress up clothes.
We were going to use this one as our Christmas picture but it turned out kind of blurry. But we had a lot of fun dressing up.
Afterwards the kids (and Ben) played for a while on the viking ships.

Again - you guys are having such an adventure right now! Viking ships? How cool is that? I love your families dress-up pictures. You all look great!
My kids have been learning about Viking ships & they think this is so scary! I had to explain that the Vikings aren't there... just the ships! What a great adventure you are having!
