Between a Rock and a Hard Place....

The kids and I were out playing and I accidently kicked the soccer ball over the fence. On the other side of the fence is a field with nothing in it, so i ran into my uncle yard and through the hole in his fence and into the field to get the ball. I threw it back over the fence to our side. I saw Laney in our yard, but I couldn't see Ty. So I yelled to Laney and asked her where Ty was, and she gave me some vague reply. I had closed all the gates so I knew he had to be somewhere around. I ran back into our yard and started looking for Ty. I looked in the yard and then I ran inside to see if he was there. But he wasn't. When I came back out I saw him on the other side of the fence with one shoe in his hand and the other on his foot. I must have had a very puzzled look on my face, because I had no idea how he could have gotten over there. The fence is really high. So I told him to get back to the other side of the fence. He walked over to the very end of the fence...where the two fences meet and proceeded to squish his little body between the two fences....
until only his little (or big, i guess...) head was the only left on the 'wrong' side of the fence. Then he started whimpering and I helped him get out.
I think he must have seen Kitty do it and figured he could do it too. Anyway, I took a picture of how little space there is in between the two fences 'cause I'm still amazed at how he could get through there.

I had to laugh when I saw these pictures of Ty! Clever little feller, having fooled you as to how he got over on the other side of the fence. I especially love the title you gave it!
Love,
Deb

That's hilarious! These kids are pretty tricky at achieving what they want, aren't they?

Oh, poor kid, but what a great story and picture you got of it! Gavin's head is 5 times bigger than Ty's, so I'm sure he would've gotten stuck on the way over too!

These pictures are hilarious! I can just see little Ty squishing through that small space (he must be related to Ben!) and then getting stuck! You must think more clearly then me...I probably would have panicked, ran inside to grab Vaseline, and rubbed it all over his head to "slide" him out before trying anything else! Your way was much better......

We were looking at your new posts and Gavin said, "Where Ty say, 'help me, I need Mommy!'" and then I scrolled down to these pics...this is what he was talking about!
