The rhinos were right next to the elephants and they have these little windows you can look through and see them. Both rhinos were standing right next to the windows. Good day to go to the zoo i guess.
Of course, we had to see how long Laney and Ty's arms are. I swear their arms should be longer, 'cause they are little monkeys!!
When Ben comes with us, he always refuses to try to see how long his arms are.....He knows he's actually a gorilla.
Two bear cubs (big cubs) were fighting.
Ty would climb out of his stroller when we got to a new animal. It was a little scary at times...
Laney and Ty posing (kind of) in front of the zebras.
The mama giraffe and the daddy giraffe smooching....kind of...
Laney is so happy 'cause she loves the giraffes and they were out that day. When she went with her Pre-school class they weren't and teachers wouldn't let the kids go inside the giraffe house to see them....which made Laney cry.
Happy Tyler-boy watching the giraffes.
Laney and Ty hanging on one of the exhibits railing things. I told you they are monkeys!!!
I had to put this picture on 'cause I thought this sloth was so cool. We were standing there looking at it, and suddenly out of the corner of my eye I saw something falling right next to Laney's face. So I looked down and I looked up, and there was a bird that pooped right above Laney and almost landed on her little noggin. Man, was I glad she was standing 1/2 inch further back than where the poop landed.
The kids posing on the tigers. We had to hurry and take the picture 'cause there was a crowd behind us waiting to get their pictures taken. Popular place i guess.
Laney sliding on the big snake slide.

Looks like fun!My kids love the Zoo!We gone twice this year,so far!
I love the zoo! Remember when we were single and crazy? I think there's a picture of you posing in that turtle shell.
I love going to the zoo! Looks like you had a great time. Your kids are the cutest "monkeys" I've ever seen. So cute that Ty just was in awe of the Elephants and lucky for Laney that she didn't get pooped on! I did once at 7 peaks resort while I was laying out. Nasty birds.
I'm curious as to how much a year's membership to the zoo costed? Sounds fun!
the cheapest one costs just under $60. And then you get in for free as often as you'd like, discounts on everything you buy there. We figured if we went a couple of times it would be cheaper to buy a membership than to pay every time we went. Anyway, we loved it. Also because if the kids get tired or whatever you can leave and not feel bad about only having been there for an hour or two, and can go back another day.
We had a zoo membership that expired on May 31st too! We were kind of disappointed with the zoo this year though. Seems like there's hardly any animals.
You got tons of cute zoo pictures! Of course the kissing giraffes and Laney by the giraffes are adorable! Yay, Laney, we are giraffe buddies too!
