The next day we rented a boat and went out on the reservoir to try to catch some fish.
The kids were terrified of getting in the boat and we couldn't go to fast. But eventually they calmed down and enjoyed it.

It was a bit chilly and a little rainy at first so we bundled up.

YAY!!! Ben caught a rainbow trout. He released it again because he didn't want to clean it and stuff. Later we found out that the people at the boat rental place would have done it for us and then we were kicking ourselves.

After we returned the boat we walked on the beach and found a spot where Ben tried to catch some fish. He didn't catch any.....
...but the kids had fun throwing rocks in the water.
As we left the reservoir we saw two pelicans hanging out in the water.

Wow that's an awesome campsite, we should go there and camp together..hehe
For fun! That's too bad about the people cleaning your fish for you. That would have been really nice. What a fun family outing!
This makes me want to totally go back to Panguitch Lake now!!! Love the fishing pictures, you guys are so brave to go in a boat. We are always so chicken someone is going to either jump or fall out. Good Job. Love to camp!
