As usual Ty wants us to wear our party hats all day long. So him and I wore ours to pick up Laney and she was handed hers the moment she stepped off the bus. I really liked Ty's birthday though, because both Ty was just so happy all day long and Laney tried extra hard to nice to him so there were a minimal amount of fighting that day......aaaah if just one of them had a birthday every day!!! :D
But started off the day singing in his deep baritone opera voice "Haaaappy biiiirthday to meeeee, haaappy biiirthday to meeeee...." I don't think he got any further 'cause Ben and I busted up laughing and probably interrupted him.
Ty LOVES the movie 'Despicable Me' and he wanted a minion party. Well, I searched high and low. online and in stores, to find 'Despicable Me' party stuff. But alas it was not meant to be. So we improvised. We printed off pictures from the movie on the web and glued them on balloons, napkins and plates. Ty loved it.
Ben and I stayed up half the night the night before to make 'minion cupcakes' for Ty to bring to school. But an hour and half after I took him and cupcakes to school, they called and said that he couldn't pass them out 'cause they were homemade. (even though we asked the Friday before grrrrr) oh well....more cupcakes for us.
It's not easy to get all those candles when you get THIS old.
Ty was one spoiled kid and got so many wonderful birthday presents.
He got this cool bead thing from the Cullingfords. He is now mass producing little bead shapes!! :D

Everyone is getting so big! Come visit soon! :) You are so good at decorating things by the way! The cupcakes are soooo cute! And that is really sad that they didn't let Ty bring the cupcakes...more for you I guess! Love you all! <3
Happy birthday to him!! He is so cute and getting so old! Yay!! I love that he loves to wear his birthday hat all day, that is the cutest tradition ever! Tell him I think he is so funny! And so sweet that the kids are so nice to one another.
Wow, Ty's hair did the same thing that Laney's did, and just TURNED BROWN! I still think of both of them as little tow-heads. What a cute little opera-singer. :) Happy late birthday, Ty-Ty.

1st of all, that top pic of Nyah is so CRISP and beautiful.. what a love! Next, so glad that Ty inherited a loud singing voice like Ben.. a great memory of us growing up! Also, so creative on the minion party!! And boo, to not just letting you pass out the very cool cupcakes anyway.. after giving permission too! ppsshh.. they missed out! And my kids always wanted to try that dot thing.. looks worth it! And Ty does look so different with the long hair! I'm totally into all these pics and have a ton to say.. should just call you..! :)
Happy Birthday! Everyone keeps growing up! Love the cupcakes...couldn't they tell they were "professional" grrrr....I hate when I get things planned and cross all the i's and dot all the t's and then stuff doesn't work out still... HA-RUMPH!!!! But that's ok, cupcakes are always yummerific!
