The fountain at Residenzplatz in the center of Salzburg.
Since Salzburg is the city where Mozart was born there is a statue of him. When we were there they had a the Salzburger Festspiele and because of that these musicians where playing in front of Mozart's statue.
Ben and Nyah listening to the pretty music.
The kids and I on the Staatsbrucke and the river Salzach in the background. Yes, Ty is looking a little weird, I know. And no, Laney and I are not trying to choke him. I told the kids to look at Ben and Ty was like, 'Where is he? I can't see him?' I assume that's why he's looking like that. And maybe because I had packed him long pants and he wanted to wear shorts since he was sweating bullets.
Just some bikes along the river.
Schloss Mirabell on the left, the River Salzach and Festung Hohensalzburg in the background.
The walking street. I loved, loved, loved how all the shops had an old fashioned sign hanging over the street.
We stopped to get some lunch and realized that little Nyah was sleeping in the backpack. So we set her down up against the chair so she could keep on sleeping. haha
We realized that we were eating lunch right next to Mozart's birth house. We got in the car around 1-ish to finish our drive to Croatia. When we had looked up on google maps how long it would take from Salzburg it was supposed to be around 5 hours but when we plugged it into the GPS it said we wouldn't be there til around 10pm. We were starting to panic a wee bit. It changed a couple of times, I guess because some traffic cleared up and it took us around 6 hours. This last picture is the city Koper in Slovenia. It was very pretty.
