Croatia Vacation Day 6 - Kamenjak

 There is another national park on the peninsula of Istria and it's on the very tip of the peninsula and is called Kamenjak. There of course, are beautiful beaches on both sides but there is also a little trail with dinosaurs. There are signs telling about the dinosaurs and how there used to live dinosaurs there and that the plants that are there are some of the same that were there at dinosaur times.

 The kids did lots of different poses in front of all the dinosaurs.

 It's hard to see in the picture but the black circles are around the footprints. It was very cool to see.

 These next few pictures of me and there are 3 of them because 1. I was on this vacation too....

 2. I was happy to be on vacation.....

 and 3. I was loving every minutes of all the sunshine. The sun makes me happy! :D I was a happy camper.

 Afterward seeing all the dinosaur stuff we drove around to find the perfect spot to go swimming. This is the spot we found and it was perfect. The kids had a great time trying to and catching little fish (Laney caught 5 with her new bear technique.....we not call her Bear Laney) finding water snails, catching hermit crabs, trying to catch crabs, and of course lots of swimming.

 Nyah ran around and practiced her climbing skills, and yes, she is now officially a mountain goat, and taking a nap in Ben's homemade shelter.

The kids trying to catch fish. Ben and I took turns swimming around, looking a fish and trying to make our freakishly white bodies not stand our so much between the leathery looking people and the olive skinned southern Europeans. Maybe next year! :D hahaha
