Saturday we got ready to leave. I had seen this house down the street and really wanted a picture of it. I liked the green leaves, the wood ladder, the old window and the brick.....basically everything about it. Well, I walked down to take the picture and there were some men working outside. I didn't want to look like an idiot and stand there and take picture of their house so I just kept walking, took another picture I wanted and then walked back. But they were still there. So I just walked back to the house. Of course, my family wouldn't stand for it and send me back with poor Zak in tow to help me. You know, like Zak was my Aaron. So I took the picture and the guys were all laughing and thought it was really funny that I wanted a picture of an old wall. Oh well. :D
One of the millions of castle along the Rhein river. I'm serious people. There's a castle around every little bend in that river, on every hillside and behind every rock. Well, maybe not behind every rock....but almost!!
We took a little ferry boat across the river and saw....you guesses it....another castle.
I don't know, I just liked this little house. They probably thought i was weird too. But then again so did the people who saw me digging through a garbage pile because I wanted an old piece of wood probably too. Yep, that's how us Campbells roll....old wood? check! pictures of random houses? check!
Just so much prettiness all around.
Aaaaaahh!!!
The next 2 castle are called Burg Maus and Burg Katz. This is Burg Maus in the middle of the Rhein River.
...and this is Burg Katz up on the hill overlooking the Rhain river and Burg Maus.
My handsome father and handsome brother.....or the twins as we call them! :D
